Muscle Relaxant Injections Dulwich Hill
Taking care of outside the mouth is just as important as taking care of inside the mouth to not only improve your smile but to also improve your overall health.
The skin is the biggest organ in the body and acts as a barrier between you and the outside environment. Any deterioration can increase the likelihood of bacteria, viruses or fungi to penetrate the skin and infect the body and so skincare is absolutely important.
2 out of 3 people under the age of 70 are subject to skin cancer in Australia so it is important that we take care of our skin the best way possible.
Muscle Relaxant Injections
How does it work?
The fine lines on your face are only a symptom. The underlying cause is the overuse of the muscle underneath the skin. What the muscle relaxant does is paralyse that muscle thus rendering it to unable to be used and contract. Therefore less contraction of the muscle means less contraction of the skin and as a result the skin will start to heal and the fine lines you see will fade away.
When should I come back?
It is important to come back after 2 weeks for a review appointment to check the progress and if any more injections need to be done.
What if all the wrinkles do not go away
It is not unheard of that sometimes the we do not get the result we want immediately. Skin takes time to recover. If there is still residual muscle activity causing those fine lines then we just add further little doses at the designated area.
